4.9-magnitude quake hits Sichuan: CENC  

四川省绵阳市盐亭县附近发生4.9级左右地震

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake jolted Mianyang city in southwest China's Sichuan province at 4:20 pm Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter was monitored at 31.5 degrees north latitude and 105.2 degrees east longitude, and the focus of the quake was 15 kilometers deep, the center said in a statement.
