Photos of a woman with just one leg wearing a high-heeled shoe at the Beijing airport went viral online on July 8, 2014, after a netizen posted the picture with the caption "What a beautiful girl!"

The woman in the photo is Erma Ayi, an 26-year-old ethnic singer from southwest China's Sichuan province. The pictures earned her throngs of admirers online, with some netizens referring to her as the "Oriental Venus."

Ayi chatted with netizens, expressing that she hopes she could one day get singing advice from famous mainland pop star, Na Ying. Erma also hoped that she could find a more-suitable prosthetic limb.

It's reported that Ayi plans to audition for "The Voice of China" later this month. And the person from whom she seeks advice, Na Ying, is one of the show's four judges.
