Iranian wins polka-dot jersey in 2014 Tour of Qinghai Lake

Iranian rider Ghader Mizbani of Tabriz Petrochemical Team (TPT) grabbed the polka-dot jersey as the best climber in the 13th Tour of Qinghai Lake on Sunday.

The 8th stage on Sunday ended with the last two climbs in this year's Tour: one Category 3 climb and one KOM H climb at the altitude of 3594 meters above sea level, and Ghader Mizbani took the lead in all the climbs in the Tour.

Sergiy Lagkuti from Kolss Cycling Team (KLS), Volodymyr Kogut from Amore&, Vita-Selle SMP (AMO) and Samuele Conti from Neri Sottoli (NRI) were the top three in Sunday's race.

Ilya Davidenok from Continental Team Astana (AS2) retained his yellow, blue and green jerseys, which represent the leader of general classification, best Asian rider and best sprinter respectively.

This stage is from Xunhua to Lintao, covering a total distance of 226 kilometers.
