Baotou bomb threat

A department store in Baotou, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was blocked by police after receiving a tip-off of a potential explosion Wednesday night, China Central Television reported.

Police later ruled out the possibility of any explosives inside the Wangfujing Department Store in Qingshan district, Baotou after conducting a thorough inspection of the building.

Further investigation is underway.
