Public service ads are one of the highlights of the Chinese Dream exhibition.

These ads, mainly photographs, showcase how ordinary people protect the natural environment, help each other and chase their dreams.

A collection of paintings, calligraphy, sculptures and short films shows the childhood dreams of the artists.

This short film expresses 93-year-old artist Yu Lan's dreams throughout different phases of her life.

Film director Li Wei said, "When she was a child, Yu Lan wanted to be a soldier. And in her 20s, her dream was becoming an actress. Anyway, her dream changes during different phases of her life. This is the same with most of us, our dreams change, but the important thing is that we have dreams."

Award-winning film "Walk To School" is also featured at the exhibition. But this time, it has been edited into a 2-minute short film. It tells the story of how children in remote areas of the country overcome difficulties to get to school.

All the works on show here have been selected from more than 800 entries.
