Cross-Strait duo beat Beygelzimer & Jans-Ignacik
In women's doubles, the Cross-Strait combination of Peng Shuai of Chinese mainland and Hsieh Su-Wei of Chinese Taipei have kept their hope of a title defense intact. Peng and Hsieh, picking up a straight sets win over the pair of Yulia Beygelzimer of Ukraine and Poland's Klaudia Jans-Ignacik.

The Ukrainian Yulia Beygelzimer and her Polish partner Klaudia Jans-Ignacik went into Tuesday's delayed match three games to one ahead. Peng Shuai and Hsieh Su-Wei were, however, quick to take charge. Any early worries that may have had soon evaporated in a carefully co-ordinated attacking strategy.
