Senior CPC official meets Sudan's NCP delegation

Zhao Leji, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Monday met with a delegation from Sudan's National Congress Party (NCP).

The delegation is led by Eldirdiry Mohamed Ahmed, the NCP's foreign minister.

Hailing bilateral traditional friendship and growing cooperation in various fields, Zhao said the CPC and the Chinese government will always promote China-Sudan ties from a strategic perspective and is ready to work with Sudan to write a new chapter in bilateral relations.

Zhao, also the head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, also briefed Eldirdiry Mohamed Ahmed on the CPC's self-construction.

Eldirdiry Mohamed Ahmed said Sudan is willing to strengthen cooperation with China to promote party-to-party and country-to-country relations.
