Hong Kong citizens get tickets to military barracks

The PLA Hong Kong Garrison announced on June 15 that it will open its military barracks in Shek Kong and San Wai on June 29, 2014 and Ngong Shuen Chau Barracks on July 1, 2014.

A total of 25,000 tickets will be given out to Hong Kong citizens and social organizations for the Military Barracks Open Day this year, including 9,000 tickets for Ngong Shuen Chau Barracks, 8000 for San Wai Barracks and 8000 for Shek Kong Barracks, according to the PLA Hong Kong Garrison.

The PLA Hong Kong Garrison will hand out the tickets at the following six locations from 08:30 to 12:30 on June 22: east gate of the Central Barracks, east front entrance of the Kowloon East Barracks, south gate of the Gun Club Hill Barracks, north front entrance of the Shek Kong Barracks, southeast front entrance of the San Wai Barracks, and west gate of the Tam Mei Barracks.

Each Hong Kong citizen may get a maximum of four tickets by their ID cards. The PLA Hong Kong Garrison has also set up the "green channel for the elderly aged above 70 and the disabled".
