Fight in subway spooks passengers

Two passengers fought in a subway carriage on the Daxing Line, causing frightened passengers to flee in a panic during the evening rush hour on Tuesday.

The two passengers were taken away by the police, reported the Beijing Youth Daily. At around 6:10 pm, when the subway was near the Gaomidian South Subway Station, the two passengers began to fight.

When the train arrived at the station, passengers stampeded out of the carriage, leaving it scattered with purses, shoes, umbrellas, and other personal items, according to the report.
