Lin Chiling, popular model and actress from Taiwan, said that in her new spy film "the Trump Card" (Wang Pai) she changed her trademark "baby doll" voice and made it normal.

Lin said she later dubbed for her role in the film herself as age of the role she played is 20 years older than her.

Lin, who is famous for her gentle demeanor and physical beauty, changes her image in the film. She elaborated more about this during a press conference held in Shanghai on Saturday.

"The role I played in the film suffers from a lot of tortures. She is faced up with new situations. How would she continue and move forward steadily? How would she find the real voice from the bottom of her heart? Audiences could see changes that happen to the woman in the film."

Lin was questioned for her ability of selecting screenplay at the press conference. The film "Switch" (Fu Chun Shan Ju Tu) she acted in 2013 received a lot of negative feedbacks. But she explained that film was like a jigsaw. Actor and actress are just in charge of their own parts. What would the whole film turn out to be, she doesn't know. Still she insisted that this time the film "the Trump Card" would be a great one.

The film will possibly hit Chinese screens this summer.
