PLA to conduct exercise in waters near Shantou

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) will conduct live-ammunition exercise in the waters near Shantou from 10:00 to 14:00 every day from June 11 to June 15, 2014, according to the official website of the Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) of the People's Republic of China (PRC). During the period of time mentioned above, no vessel is allowed to enter the designated maritime areas. Vessels that plan to sail through the prohibited waters are requested to detour. Vessels that sail near the prohibited waters are requested to keep listening to the channel VHF16 and pay attention to the safety of navigation.

The following are the coordination points for the lines drawn to demarcate the related prohibited waters:

B：23°16′00″N,117°08′00″E;

C：23°09′19″N,117°13′00″E;

D：23°01′00″N,116°58′20″E;

E：23°01′00″N,116°50′10″E;

F：23°10′00″N,116°50′10″E.
