Chinese navy to make debut at world’s largest naval drill

According to China's naval spokesman, the Chinese navy will attend Rim of the Pacific, or RIMPAC exercise led by US for the first time. RIMPAC will take place in and around Hawaiian Islands from June 26 to August 1st.

Four Chinese vessels will participate in 7 subjects, including maritime security operations, disaster relief. China will also have an open day for international exchanges. RIMPAC is the world's largest naval drill held every two years since 1971.
