After a total of 37 performances in 2012 and 2013 and selling over 400,000 tickets, Attraction, a large-scale live show directed by Chinese film director Lu Chuan is scheduled to come to Beijing's Bird's Nest, or the National Stadium, this September 13-30.

Taking a whole year to complete, the super live show, which premiered in 2012, takes coexistence and conflict between man and nature as the main theme of the performance.

Written by Lu himself, whose other works include Kekexili: Mountain Patrol (2004) and City of Life and Death (2009), Attraction has also brought in Oscar winning designer Emi Wada from Japan for costume design and Yang Rong, general director of Zhang Yimou's Impression live show series.

With the total length of the high-altitude wires reaching 13,000 meters and a giant 3,600 square meter LED screen - almost as large as eight standard basketball courts - the super live show takes up nearly the entire space within the Bird's Nest.

Combined with various advanced technologies such as holographic projectors and high-altitude water curtains, Attraction is targeted to be on a par with the magnificent Cirque du Soleil show O in Las Vegas, the latter of which now has become a must-watch performance for visitors going to the city.

After the September performance, Attraction plans to take the show overseas on a world tour.
