Former Hunan official investigated for law violation

Yang Baohua, a former senior official in Central China's Hunan province, has been put under investigation for suspected serious violation of discipline and law, the Communist Party of China's disciplinary organ announced on Monday.

Yang was former vice chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
