Beijing police vowed to launch an investigation into a case where a young teenager was severely beaten by a group of older men after a video capturing the violence went viral online on Sunday.

The video shows three men torturing the boy for nearly 10 minutes by slamming him, beating him with sticks, urinating on him, and even throwing a brick at his head. The video has been forwarded thousands of times. Some netizens believe the case occurred in Naixi village in Beijing.
