The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee on Tuesday held the 15th meeting of its chairman and vice chairpersons.

The meeting deliberated the agenda and schedule of the sixth meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee in June, and also studied a plan to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the CPPCC.

Attendees of Tuesday's meeting also listened to a report on modern vocational education.

The meeting decided to expel former China Resources chairman Song Lin from the CPPCC National Committee.

The meeting said this year marks the 65th anniversary of both the CPPCC and the People's Republic of China, calling for the continued support of the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

The meeting was presided over by Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.
