Two sika deer were spotted in the Jiutai Zhuangyuan villa complex in Changping district, the Beijing Evening News reported.
On May 15, residents of the complex saw two deer stroll and eat leaves on the lawn. Employees with the property management office tried to catch the deer but they managed to break away. The local animal welfare association volunteered to help catch the deer.
On May 13, an ostrich was spotted running along a street in the Changying area of Chaoyang district. Police chased the giant bird with a car and apprehended it, the Beijing Television reported.
