Star couple may face huge fine for second baby

Film and TV star Sun Li gave birth to a second child on May 3 but the child's hukou, or household registration, has become a mystery, City Evening News reported.

Neither Sun Li nor her husband, Deng Chao, are themselves single children so do not have a legal right to a second child, according to China's family planning policy. Though the child was born in Hong Kong it could not get Hong Kong residency if neither parent have local residency. Therefore, the couple may face a huge fine if their child has no legal residency.
