While life in big cities can be very compelling, you may still find yourself seeking comfort in spiritual books or religion. Now a newly published book combines both spiritualism and life in the big city. In Everything is the Best Arrangement, Living Buddha and author of the book, Gyatso, shares his understanding of happiness, love and life based on his deep belief in Buddhism, as well as his rich life experience, even though he is just 34 years old.

Widely regarded as the most influential post-80s (people born between 1980-90) spiritual mentor, Gyatso enjoys great popularity on the Internet. His Sina Weibo account has nearly 5 million fans, including many big-name celebrities such as Wang Fei, Jet Li and Zhao Benshan.

Unlike many low-key Living Buddhas whose lives are limited to their temples, Gyatso has chosen a much higher-profile lifestyle that is more in touch with the common people. He often shares his understandings about life and Buddhism on his weibo. In his view, by stepping out of a temple and associating with people, he has been able to help even more.

Several years ago he launched a charity fund to help children in remote and disaster-stricken areas by cooperating with celebrity-philanthropists like Jet Li, Zhao Benshan and famous entertainment show hostess Xie Na.

Easily engulfed by scandals, celebrities often seek out Buddhism as a means to achieve spiritual awareness. Famous music diva Wang Fei has appeared at Buddhist temples and been seen with well known Buddhist masters numerous times. For us common folk, however, learning to relieve our tightened nerves from time to time is also very important. Differing from other self-help books, this book's Buddhist influence may be just what the doctor ordered for many readers.

According to the book's publishers, Everything is the Best Arrangement has sold 50,000 volumes in two weeks, and ranks among the top 10 best-selling new books on dangdang.com.
