It's 45 days since the Malaysia Airlines plane disappeared from radar view en-route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. The robotic submarine Bluefin-21 has completed its eighth trip underwater off the coast of western Australia.  [Special coverage]

Meanwhile, 10 military aircraft are being deployed today, Monday, for an aerial search. China's Il-76 transport plane has taken off from Perth to join the mission, which will cover a total of 3,700 square kilometers.

But the search could once again be hindered by tough weather, with a tropical storm expected to hit the Southern Indian Ocean.
