Seven people were killed in an expressway accident in central China's Hunan Province on Sunday, local police said.

The accident happened around 6:35 am, when a small utility vehicle (SUV) crashed through the central barrier and had a head-on collision with a truck on a section of the Jinggang'ao Expressway that links Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao. The two vehicles then burst into flames, killing five in the SUV and two in the truck.
