Rail traffic resumes after derailment in NE China

A railway section in northeast China's Heilongjiang province has been reopened as of 6:40pm Sunday after a passenger train derailed earlier, the Harbin Railways Bureau said.

The K7034 train en route from Heihe to the provincial capital of Harbin,derailed at the section in Hailun County of Suihua city at 3:17am and injured 15 people.

The injured passengers are still under examination and treatment in hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
