A 4.8-magnitude earthquake hit Li County, Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Sichuan Province on Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The quake hit Li County, Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Sichuan Province at 10:30 a.m.

The epicenter, with a depth of 17 km, was monitored at 31.7 degrees north latitude and 103.2 degrees east longitude, the center said.
