'That Demon Within' premiered in Beijing

Chinese film "That Demon Within" (Mo Jing) premiered in Beijing on Thursday.

Filmmaker Dante Lam, together with Hong Kong actors Nick Cheung and Daniel Wu, attended the premiere.

The film tells the story of Dave (Daniel Wu), a policeman who unwittingly saves the life of a notorious gang leader in Hong Kong through a blood donation. This symbolizes that they are essentially made of the same stuff. When the gang leader returns to his criminal ways, Dave makes it his mission to pit the elements in the city's criminal underworld against each other, with dire consequences.

The film is to reach cinemas in China on April 18th.
