Prisons in Jiangsu province have provided psychological intervention centers for prisoners to vent their emotions and feelings, Yangtze Evening reported.

Prisoners will be taken to the centers where there are human-shaped models on which they can release their emotions. The report did not give details about how the models work.

Prisoners can also learn painting and music after eight hours of work. Female prisoners are encouraged to take care of plants in their cells and learn how to dance, according to the newspaper.

The province, which has 22 prisons for men, two prisons for women and one juvenile correctional facility, now has more than 87,000 prisoners.
