CPC official meets Mali delegation

Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Zhao Leji met with a delegation from Mali on Monday, stressing the good relations between the two countries' parties.

The delegation was headed by Bokary Treta, General Secretary of Rally for Mali.

Zhao, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, briefed the delegation on the 18th National Congress of the CPC and the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee.

He said the CPC will strengthen communication and cooperation with the Malian side on governance, institutional development and cadre training to improve overall bilateral ties and promote peace and development in Africa.

Treta said Rally values traditional friendship between Mali and China and it will make efforts to advance the two nations' relations as well as the two parties' ties.
