Madame Tussauds Beijing, which will open the end of May in Beijing's historical Qianmen district, unveiled the wax figure of Cui Jian, the Chinese godfather of rock 'n' roll on March 11.

Cui recently visited the museum to take photos with his wax figure and speak with his adoring fans. It was difficult to distinguish him from his own wax figure as they were both were in the same clothes and even wore the same cap.

It took six years for the Madame Tussauds team to complete Cui's wax figure. The team flew from London to Beijing last year and spent 3 hours just measuring Cui's wax replica.
