Ding Junhui crashes Li Yan 5-1 at World Snooker Haikou Open 2014

Ding Junhui, China's most favorite snooker player, stunned countryman Li Yan 5-1 in the first round of Snooker World Open 2014 in Haikou on Tuesday.

Ding started the first frame with a break of 62 points, but too many misses cost him the first frame. However, Ding finally find the key to victory in the second frame, and came back with a break of 57 points to win 77-22.

In the next two frames, Ding kept enjoying his nice touches, getting breaks of 51 points and 46 points respectively in the third and fourth frames, and made a break of 128 points in fifth frame. In the last frame, Ding left no chance to his opponent, and secured the 5-1 win in the first round. His next opponent would be Indian player Panka Advani.

In the other matches on Tuesday, Marco Fu won 5-3 against Anthony Mcgill, Michael Hold crashed Nigel Bond 5-1. Enditem
