China ratifies anti-Japanese war victory day

China's top legislature on Thursday formalized September 3 as Victory Day of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.

The decision was made at the bimonthly session of the Standing Committee of the National People's (NPC) Congress which ended on Thursday.
