China has just won a bronze in the men's 5,000 meter short track speed skating relay.

China failed to win a bronze medal in the men's curling against Sweden. Skip Liu Rui missed his last shot in the game decider. Canada has taken the gold medal, overwhelming Britain in a 9-3 victory.

In the men's hockey semifinal, Sweden managed to beat Finland 2-1 and will now go into the final. Sweden will face the U.S. or Canada on Sunday, while Finland will play the loser of the second semifinal for bronze on Saturday.

Meanwhile in the women's ski cross final, Canadian Marielle Thompson finished ahead of Kelsey Serwa, winning gold, while the bronze was won by Sweden's Anna Holmlund.

American teenager Mikaela Shiffrin has made Alpine skiing history as the youngest ever winner of an Olympic slalom gold medal.
