A report on this month's third plenary session of Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was published on Monday.

The report was delivered on Jan. 13 by Wang Qishan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee and head of the CCDI. It reviewed the work of the commission last year, and made plans for this year.

Anti-corruption efforts were improved last year, with the implementation of thrift and cleaning up four undesirable work styles -- formalism, bureaucracy, hedonism and extravagance, according to the report.

The agency punished both "tigers" and "flies" last year, referring to high-ranking and grassroots officials.

Wang said improving and establishing systems will remain the priority of CCDI work in the new year. Cleaning up four undesirable work styles will continue.
