Acrobatics, kungfu and mask-changing are all forming part of a dazzling new show telling a Chinese story. "Panda!" debuted in Las Vegas on Saturday to riotous applause. The show is the first ever Chinese show to take up residency in Sin City.

Created by a team whose credits include shows featured at the Beijing and London Olympic ceremonies, "Panda!" is a spectacle combining high-flying acrobatics, thrilling martial arts and Chinese music and dance.

With performers hailing from China's National Acrobatic Troupe, the Tianjin Acrobatic Troupe, and the Shaolin Temple Kung-fu Monks Troupe, "Panda!" tells a love story between a panda and a peacock princess. The two are separated by evil forces, and the panda can only overcome the enemy by becoming a kungfu master. The show was put together in just five months, but it has already won overwhelming success.

The mesmerizing theatrical production features Chinese elements like panda, peacock, Buddhist monks, fairies, monkey king and terra cotta warriors. 3D videos played at the backdrop and gorgeous light and sound has kept the atmosphere high. The show was accompanied by applause from beginning to end. The curtain call lasted for five minutes.

Hailed as an epic journey featuring Chinese acrobats, Kung Fu masters, and dancers, Panda! will be a fixture at The Venetian.
