Extreme racing offered at mountain sports park

Starting in June, race-car lovers can get up to speed on the high-level racing venue in Da'anshan township in Fangshan district, where an international park for mountain-based sports is under construction, the Beijing Evening Post reported.

Located in the mountains that were previously home to coal mines, the planned sports park will feature facilities for cross-county SUV racing, mountain climbing and other outdoor extreme sports. An amusement park is also planned.

After completion, the four SUV race tracks will provide a contest venue where more than a hundred drivers can compete.
