For many music fans in China, it was Lisa Ono who first introduced them to the beauty of Bossa Nova. Now, the queen has returned to the Worker's Gymnasium to celebrate the first night of 2014 with music fans in the capital city.

With her sultry and soothing sound, Ono's is a romantic musical journey around the world. From American pop songs like "Take Me Home, Country Road" to French chanson "La Vie en Rose", Ono reinterprets classic tunes with her unique touch of bossa. She even surprises the audience with the Chinese song "Evening Primrose".

Lisa Ono first came to China in 2007 for Shanghai Jazz Week, and will return to the city this Valentine's day. Culture Express's interview with the Bossa Nova diva will be out this Friday. So be sure not to miss it.
