China seeks co-op with Russia to combat '3 evil forces'

Chinese State Councilor Guo Shengkun held talks with Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev in Beijing on Monday.

Guo, also minister of public security, said the two countries should enhance cooperation to better combat the "three evil forces of terrorism, separatism and extremism", cyber and drug crime and transnational organized crime, improve efficiency on crime investigation, arresting and repatriation of criminal suspects.

Guo also suggested both sides to strengthen partnership in security for major international events, border law enforcement, personnel training and cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
