Olympic champion Zou Shiming won his third pro fight but more importantly stepped it up a level from his previous two pro outings in April and July. He soundly beat younger opponent Juan Tozcano from Mexico.

It is the hard work like this that put Zou in the prefect shape for his third professional fight.

Almost no empty seats here in the Venetian Cotai Arena in Macao on Sunday, Zou Shiming, the most successful amateur boxer ever in China, up against Juan Tozcano from Mexico.

Zou started with good movement, fast speed and superb footwork.

He threw good combinations and made amazing the crowd.

The Mexican was hurt by two-time Olympic champion, he suffered a cut around his eye.

Zou won the 6-round fight by a unanimous points decision.

"Thanks for the Manny Pacquiao's team, as I've been trained in his camp in Philippine in the past one and a half month, and it certainly took an effect today, as you can see. I have to say today is one of most shocking experiences for me, and it's very impressive." Zou Shiming said.

Some say he is finally looking like a professional fighter.

His previous two fights were unconvincing but this was better

He seemed fully at home on the professional stage for the first time.

Some say his previous fight in July, he looked like a weary fighter. This time, he was all business.

His advancing age is not ideal in a sport where most peak before 30. But his coach Freddie roach said boxing is measured not by your age but by how many wars you have been in.

"Feddie Raoch says Zou could be a world champion in 12 month time, we don't know. But his every punch is not just fighting his opponent in the ring, but fighting history as well."
