Residents of Gaoxing village in Sichuan province will have new villas thanks to two Good Samaritans from the village, xinhuanet.com reported.

Twenty years ago, Tang Guo and his wife Jiang Peicui, who were both in their early 20s left the village for neighboring Yunnan province where they worked as migrant workers in a construction company.

Tang worked hard and was promoted to project manager. Later, he set up his own construction company.

Five years ago, his company expanded to a conglomerate with more than 20 sub-companies involved in construction, logistics and production of films and TV programs.

To let fellow villagers live in buildings as spacious as their own, the couple decided to donate 30 million yuan ($4.9 million) to build 69 villas in their home village so that villagers would bid farewell to low and shabby adobe houses.

Construction of the villas with water, power and gas supplies and their adjacent roads is almost complete.
