Macao to hold Latin City parade

The Cultural Affairs Bureau of Macao will hold a Latin City parade through the city on December 20 to celebrate the 14th anniversary of the Special Administrative Region.

The Bureau introduced at a press conference on Tuesday that, this year's parade embraces performing groups from over 10 countries and regions including Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Burkina Faso, among others, as well as Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland.

They will set out on their performing journey from the city's iconic Ruins of St. Paul's, and surrounding District through brightly decorated streets and alleys. They will reach Tap Seac Square at last, where a joint performance took place.

With the theme of "The Rhythm of Life," this year's parade is hoped to attract even more residents and tourists and invite them to dig deep into the diverse cultural atmosphere of Macao.
