A fire in Beijing killed at least 10 people Tuesday night, local police said.
The fire in a storehouse in Xiaowuji of Chaoyang District was reported to the police at around 8:30 p.m., with burning areas covering more than 500 squre meters.
Fourteen people have been retrieved from the burnt site. At least 10 people were dead, said the police, adding that all injured people have been sent to hospital.
The fire was put out at around 11 p.m., firefighters said.
Investigation into the cause of the fire is under way.
