Two dead, four missing in Hunan boat capsize

Two people have died and four remain missing after a boat capsized in a reservoir in central China's Hunan province early Tuesday, local government said.

The boat with ten people aboard capsized at 6:30 a.m. in Sanlixi reservoir in Taoyuan county, according to the county government. Four were rescued, two died and four remain missing.

The 10 on board included nine waist drum players and the ship's owner. The boat overturned during sudden strong gales, according to an initial investigation.

Rescue operations are under way.
