The Chinese embassy in Ghana says 43 Chinese nationals who've been held for alleged illegal gold mining have all been released. The embassy says it has been working with Ghanaian authorities to handle the issue.

The 43 miners were arrested last month along with two Indians and one American in an operation carried out by Ghana's Immigration Service.
