A tree house, literally, has become a tourist attraction in a Guangdong province village.

A 15-meter high camphor tree is growing inside the two-story house in Xiacun village, in the Zhuhai special economic zone, according to Guangzhou Daily.

The house owner, surnamed Huang, said he was given the home with the tree a decade ago and has built around it as he did not want to fell it.

It takes two adults linking their arms to encompass the trunk.

But Huang said he would not cut down the tree even it damages the home.

"Instead, I will redesign and rebuild my house to offer enough space for the tree to grow in the future," Huang told local media.
