The first children's wear collection has burst onto the runway. Also hot during fashion week is a wedding gown launch where it's all about finding the perfect dress for that special day.

The oldest model here is twelve and the youngest barely two years old.

And these mini mannequins really make the designer's collection work, whether it's classic stripes or more colourful and casual looks.

Dong Wenwei, Fashipin Designer, said, "I hope parents will find out more about the parent-child bond. Because no matter how successful your career is, your family always comes first and the special bond you have with your children is the most precious thing in life."

Although one little model proved to be too shy to complete his part in the show, the children still pull off an impressive display.

And during every fashion week, the launch of wedding gowns is usually the center of attention.

Inspired by traditional embroidered lace and princess-cut dresses, this bridal creation uses classic ivory white.

Complete with intricate embroidery and drapes, the wedding gowns each present a unique look and every girl can find their dream dress.

Ren Chunhua, Fashion Designer, said, "Every bride would like to have her own wedding dress, tailored just for her. In our collection, there are tiny alterations with every look, so girls can choose their perfect match according to their preference and their physique. But ultimately it has to be perfect for that special occasion."

China Fashion Week was first initiated in 1997.

This year over 300 designers from more than ten different countries have gathered in Beijing to present their latest creations.
