Hong Kong is currently playing host to the cast and crew of "Transformers 4". But Thursday saw director Michael Bay attacked in an apparent extortion attempt. However, the director was back on set on Friday in the city.

Director Michael Bay can be seen in this behind-the-scenes video consulting with members of his cast and crew, including actor Titus Welliver. Star Mark Wahlberg can also be seen, briefly sitting, on the side of a road in-between takes.

Bay's team was filming in a residential area in the eastern part of Hong Kong on Thursday when two men who own a shop near the film set approached them, demanding financial compensation. One of the men allegedly bumped into the director and attacked policemen when they arrived at the scene over a nuisance complaint.

Police said the two men, identified as brothers surnamed Mak, were arrested for extortion and assault. They said one of the two men and three policemen later received treatment at a hospital, but Bay, despite suffering injuries to his face, refused treatment.

"Transformers: Age of Extinction" is partly set in Hong Kong. It is expected to be one of the blockbuster films of summer 2014.
