A father in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province proved to be more of a baby than his two-year-old son after photos showing him nearly-passed out drunk on a street while the toddler wiped drool from his mouth went viral online.

The father surnamed Gao was returning home with his son from a friends' party late on October 18 when he, in an inebriated state, plopped down heavily on a curb.

Unable to rouse the slumped man, the toddler wiped his thoroughly sloshed father's chin while rejecting offers of help from Samaritans.

"I will not go with you, I want my dad," said the boy pushing away a woman surnamed Chen.

An elderly man was finally able to contact a friend of Gao with his mobile phone, who came and escorted the father and son back home.

The boy earned compliments online for his fortitude during the crisis. The father was honored as the Web's latest "unreliable" dad.
