Guide for gay employees

On September 25, Community Business, an non-profit organization dedicated to advancing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Asia, issued the LGBT Resource Guide for Employers in China to help companies create an inclusive workplace for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees, communitybusiness.org reported.

The guide includes equal opportunity policies to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, and handle LGBT-related bullying and harassment. It also encourages Chinese companies to offer benefits to employees' same-sex partners regardless of the employees' marital status, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity.
