Ten registration scalpers were caught by Haidian district police at the Air Force General Hospital on September 23, the Beijing Times reported.

The touts show up early at the hospital to monopolize registrations and illegally resell the appointments to patients at a profit. Haidian police entered the hospital at about 6 am in the morning, investigated and collected evidence. At about 7:30 am, over a dozen policemen acted in concert to detain ten scalpers. After the sting, the police checked restrooms on every floor to find touts who make secret deals there. According to the hospital security, some male scalpers hid in the ladies room to escape detection.
