Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao Tuesday met with a delegation of the South African Communist Party (SACP) led by its General Secretary Blade Nzimande.

Li said the exchange and cooperation between the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the SACP has made contributions to the shift from partnership to an all-round strategic partnership between the two countries.

He called on both political parties to continue to deepen cooperation, discuss the theories and practices of socialism so as to forge ahead bilateral relations.

Nzimande said he would like to further promote friendship between the parties through the visit, in order to boost cooperation between the two countries.
