Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang met with Brazilian Presidential Chief of Staff Gleisi Hoffmann here on Monday.

During meeting, Wang said the Chinese government attaches great importance to development of the comprehensive strategic partnership with Brazil and stands ready to deepen practical cooperation with the Latin American country in trade, infrastructure, energy and other sectors to achieve win-win reciprocity and common development.

Wang also proposed the two countries strengthen coordination in regional and international affairs.

Hoffmann said Brazil views the bilateral relationship from a strategic perspective and hopes to further tap the potential for cooperation to advance the partnership between the two countries.
