Man stabs ex-wife

A man has been detained for stabbing his ex-wife Sunday in a residential compound in Pudong New Area.

A witness said the man pinned the woman to the ground and stabbed her several times. The couple was divorced, but was still fighting over how to divide their property. The suspect was caught by local security guards while he was running away.

The woman was in stable condition Monday at a local hospital.
